The Atco Presbyterian Church has a wide variety of committees and activities for everyone to be involved in.

Bluebirds - "Our mission is spreading joy in the name of the Lord."
The Bluebirds have been part of the Atco Presbyterian Church for generations.  By sending cards, messages of encouragement, stopping by with flowers, a container of homemade applesauce or bread, we create a Christian connection with shut-ins and those just in need of encouragement.

We meet once a month from September until spring on the last Thursday of the month at 1:30pm.  The Bluebirds invite all women of the church to join us.  We welcome your smiling faces.

Chancel Choir

The chancel choir sings at the service every Sunday from early September through Memorial Day.  The choir sings at the Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and the 9/11 services throughout the year.  Practices are held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the church.  The choir is always looking for new members.

Koinonia Ministry

The Koinonia Ministry is growing stronger and stronger.  The word Koinonia is Greek for "Fellowship".  The ministry itself is simply small group Bible Studies that meet in different homes.  Each group has four areas that they focus on:  fellowship, prayer, Bible study and mission/ministry.  There are groups meeting in Atco and the surrounding areas.  There are many groups to choose from and there is surely one going that fits your schedule.  See our complete list of Koinonia Groups on the Koinonia page.

New Members Class

If you would like to become a new member of Atco Presbyterian Church, there are classes that occur on a periodic basis. Contact the chruch if you are interested in joining. We love to welcome new members to the family and body of Christ!

Deacons

The Book of Order calls ordained deacons to a ministry of “compassion, witness, and service, sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, those burdened by unjust policies or structures, or anyone in distress."

Elders

The Book of Order calls ruling elders to “lead the congregation in ministries of personal and social healing and reconciliation in the communities in which the church lives and bears its witness.”

"Greet & Pray"  Thursdays

Every Thursday at 7:00pm the "Greet & Pray" group meets via Zoom to talk and pray about challenges, fears, hopes, goals, and life and lift them up to God to guide and answer. Contact the church if you are interested in participating.
