Bluebirds - "Our mission is spreading joy in the name of the Lord."
The Bluebirds have been part of the Atco Presbyterian Church for generations. By sending cards, messages of encouragement, stopping by with flowers, a container of homemade applesauce or bread, we create a Christian connection with shut-ins and those just in need of encouragement.
We meet once a month from September until spring on the last Thursday of the month at 1:30. The Bluebirds invite all women of the church to join us. We welcome your smiling faces.
Please contact Jean McDowell for more information.
The chancel choir sings at the 11 a.m. service every Sunday from early September through Memorial Day. In addition to singing at the Traditional Services, the choir also sings at the Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and the 9/11 services throughout the year. Practices are held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the church. The choir is always looking for new members.
Please contact the church for more information.
Drama Team - Drama is under the direction of Chris Troendle and has many members, most being youth. The drama team performs during the year at many church services. The Drama team practices on Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m.
The handbell choir plays throughout the year at both 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Anyone that is interested in playing bells (beginner to novice) are more than welcome.

Anyone intested in joining these ladies, please contact Joan Mahorter or Mary Harbert.
N.E.W. Joy is tasked with the following...
Nurture: the upbringing, care, or training of a child (of God)
Evangelism: the preaching and spreading of the gospel
Witness: a person who has seen or experienced or heard something, something serving as proof or evidence
Joy: a strong feeling of great happiness
These tasks are not the job of one committee but rather the church as a whole as well as on an individual level. The church has done well to provide training opportunities by Bible studies, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, youth groups, and more.
To obtain or increase your JOY please get involved in the Nurture, Evangelism, and Witness opportunities presented to you on a daily basis.
For more information on N.E.W JOY please contact the church.
The Koinonia Ministry is growing stronger and stronger. The word Koinonia is Greek for "Fellowship". The ministry itself is simply small group Bible Studies that meet in different homes. Each group has four areas that they focus on: fellowship, prayer, Bible study and mission/ministry. There are groups meeting in Atco and the surrounding areas. There are many groups to choose from and there is surely one going that fits your schedule. See our complete list of Koinonia Groups on the Koinonia page
